This area is south-west of DEC 6. The large area is 18 yards long and 20 yards at its widest. This area is fully lit by torches on walls and candles on desks. The walls, floor and ceiling of the area is all paved grey stone. The walls are decorated with simple cloth banners of various sizes, sporting colourful crests of leering demon faces. The floor is haphazardly covered with various plush carpets in multiple colours. The northern section of the area is at a lower elevation than the southern part, with descending steps all across the way. Most of the area’s central space is dominated by 35 wooden desks with simple wooden chairs, all of the desks are cluttered with big stacks of paper, writing instruments, lit candles and bottles of ink. The papers are all written in the Demontongue language, and it looks like the entirety of it all is focused on bureaucratic forms and records. A dozen more wooden chairs without desks are lined in a row alongside the south east wall.
At the south-west wall, there is a stuck door (roll ST or Forced Entry to muscle the door open). The tunnel behind the door is 1 yard wide and goes south-west for 5 yards before turning to straight west for another 15 yards, ending in entrance to another area.
