Going through the south door in AUG 9 leads here. This (10 by 10 yards) area is dedicated to processing corpses for burial. It features four large wooden tables, which all have desiccated dead bodies laid upon them. A big metal wheeled-cart is next to one, a spread of mortician’s instruments laid out for cleaning up corpses before the funeral and interment. Five unlit lanterns have been hung from hooks in the ceiling. Three metal chairs are left empty and discarded around the room. A huge wooden boiling tub (once used for deflecting bones) can be found in the middle of the area, empty and dry. There are five push-carts in this room, all totally stacked with either rotting corpses or processed skeletons.
On the floor by the carts, there lies discarded 8 billon rings (each $57, 0.15 lbs.), 2 silver buckles (each $230, 0.25 lbs.) and 17 bronze buttons (each $5, 0.08 lbs.) – the valuables pried off the corpses that were processed.
There are Nx2 Skeletons animated and equipped with combat gear among the dead. The undead servitors will attack if the adventurers search through or move any corpses in this room.
On the south wall, there’s an unlocked door leading directly into another area.
