The middle of the room is dominated by a square-shaped metal elevator that is 5 by 5 yards big, going down to the March floor. The elevator’s mechanism is operated with a control panel that has two buttons (up and down). It takes 45 seconds to go up or down a level, a distance of 15 yards.
